During the Behemoth arc, he's all badass & shit; like, "I'm going to crush all you tiny birds & watch you flop around with your broken wings." It looks like he doesn't like birds much; not because he doesn't know how to fly, but because he chose to stay on the ground for Ren-fah [who's like his girl, yo]. From that perspective, it probably became easy to see how helpless people like her are. ~~& just how much of a softy he really is.~~

Under Colosseo [Behemoth's D-class battleground] is where he's chosen to stay. Called the 'Super Beast' & usually characterized by a lion [Because Air gear is like the DISCOVERY CHANNEL with rollerblades], he's incredibly calm, sharp, usually domineering & sometimes pulls a smug streak out of his deck. Those who go against him usually end up crushed by Behemoth's 'fangs.'

Yeah, it seems like he's got kind of a god complex there. BUT!

As you keep reading, you see that's not all there is to him. It's done to protect those who are in that cage & to keep a promise. In the past, you find out that he was also a part of the same wind SWAT team as Agito/Akito [Shinjuku's crocodiles!]. During that period, he shows that he has a bit of a boy next door-ish kind of feel to him. Party hearty, yo, with a side dish of mischief & mayhem. There's a crazy, wild glint to his surface that comes out to play there, which gets narrowed down & refined during the Behemoth Arc. As in, he'll play it calm & cool before whipping out an "I'm better than you," smirk.

Kogarasumaru ends up beating Behemoth's ass anyway.

Which brings me to the playing a mixed Akira part. He sacrifices himself for Behemoth & ends up getting arrested by the winds SWAT team. But he rejoins the ranks to [as Agito puts it] protect more than a measly 1000 people. Chapter 92 & 93 shows that he's changed a bit. The weight of Under Colosseo isn't on his shoulders anymore. There's an easy, almost boyish feel to him in that chapter-- which I kind of hope I portray well or at least well enough.

There's more about him that I haven't mentioned, but that's only because my brain just went ka-put. So, YEAH:

In game, the only people he really trusts are the Behemoth crew, Ren-fah, Sano & Agito/Akito. Kaito keeps him in check most of the time, but he tends to get a smart mouth around him-- which tends to get a bullet or two or three shot his way. He also has an awesome bike [decocharis aren't for him!]-- that random fact wasn't needed, but I had to mention it because it's awesome. He's a dickies boy because I say so. Uh, by that I mean clothes. [Hey, if Akito can wear Volcom then Akira can wear Dickies] We won't mention the popped collar!college boy look, or that the shorts he wears in the Behemoth arc are like short shorts. Shut up, Tracy.
